Free Books for New Orleans Children
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library delivers free, age-appropriate books to children from birth through age 5. The Krewe of Dolly funds this program across all Orleans Parish zip codes—and we need your help.
We’re all volunteers. Every dollar you donate goes directly to books: printing, shipping, and enrollment. We currently serve 15,000+ children, and each child receives one quality book every month, delivered to their home. By age five, they’ll have built a library of 60 books.
Here’s what your support does:
$35 = one child, one year of books (12 books)
$175 = one child from birth through age 5 (60 books)
$1,000 = five children, five years of reading
