WDSU News covered our mission to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to New Orleans, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this story!
The segment explores how our krewe is working tirelessly (yes, 9 to 5 and then some!) to ensure that New Orleans children have access to free books from birth through age five. Through Imagination Library, enrolled children receive a carefully selected, age-appropriate book in the mail every month.
Why Imagination Library Matters
- Free books mailed monthly to children birth through age 5
- Builds home libraries and reading habits
- Supports early childhood development
- Currently serving 15,000+ children in our community
